With both a 7,000 square foot practice putting green and a separate 10,000 square foot chipping and pitching practice green Purgatory’s practice facilities are state of the art.
Each practice area is a true representation of what you will find out on the course. The greens are constructed to the same exacting standards, with a proper sand base, and the bunkers are made of the same fine white sand. So when you hit a shot out of the sand you know what it will feel like in your match.
The President of the Indiana Golf Foundation, Steve Baker said, “This is the best short game practice area in the state, you can practice any shot imaginable.”
Our practice range is over three football fields long, with a bent grass teeing area that is 100 yards wide and 40 yards deep. Within the practice range is a four hole course that can be used with juniors. This way they can learn the ropes on a mini course prior to heading out to complete 18 holes.
