Purgatory Golf Club is taking the threat of COVID-19 very seriously. Guided by the recommendations of the CDC and the State of Indiana, we have been making numerous changes to our golf and restaurant operations to assist in providing the safest experience as possible for our members, guests and staff.
Can we take a cart?
We are allowing walking and riding tee times. Customers may request a single rider cart for an additional $15. All carts will be sanitized before and after use.
Can I walk up and play?
We ask that all tee times be booked ahead of time. If you don’t have a tee time booked, you may not be allowed to play.
How can I book a tee time?
For our Members and Devotional Passholders – please call the Golf Shop to book at 317.776.4653 x1, but just know we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes.
For our Public players – please book your tee time in our online booking engine. You may also call the Golf Shop to book at 317.776.4653 x1
What should I know when I go play?
Once at the course proceed into the Pro Shop to check-in for your round. There you may pay for your round and purchase any merchandise you may need. Food and beverages are available in the grill next to the golf shop. Alcohol will be available for purchase from the golf course, but you are not allowed to bring your own per the State’s liquor licensing laws. After you have checked-in the starter will help you begin your round.
What has been done to limit grouping and touch points?
- Social Distancing is practiced in all areas of our facility and should be practiced on the golf course as well. Do not share clubs and golf equipment with your playing partners or congregate with them in the parking lot before or after your round.
- The clubhouse open for checking in for your round, use of the restrooms, and any purchases from the grill. Please follow all posted signage and staff instruction.
- In the case of a rain delay you may be asked to return to your vehicle.
Are the driving range and putting green open?
The driving range is open for warm up and practice. All driving range stalls are set at least 6 feet apart and range baskets can be purchased from the Pro Shop. Please leave the baskets on the driving range for staff to come and collect. The putting green is also open, and please keep 6 feet of space from anyone else warming up.
